About Me

I’ve always been passionate about health, movement, and how the body functions as a whole. My journey into Myofunctional therapy and breathwork began with my own experiences—discovering how posture, airway health, and breathing patterns impact overall well-being. Now, I help others improve their breathing, posture, and movement in practical, sustainable ways.

With a background in Sociology and Social Work from Oglethorpe University, I began my career working with children with special needs and their families. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with health professionals to integrate movement, breathwork, and Myofunctional therapy, supporting better health outcomes. I work with a range of clients, from children struggling with oral posture and breathing issues to adults dealing with TMJ dysfunction, sleep-disordered breathing, fatigue, postural imbalances, and high blood pressure. Rather than just addressing symptoms, I focus on the root causes, helping my clients create lasting improvements in their health.

At Kairos Strong, I bring together Myofunctional therapy, breathwork, and movement coaching to develop personalized, effective solutions. Whether we’re working on nasal breathing, tongue posture, sleep quality, or movement patterns, my goal is to help you function and feel better in everyday life.

For over 25 years, I’ve called Pittsboro, North Carolina home, raising my family along the Haw River. I homeschooled my three children, who are now mostly grown, and share my love of nature with my two dogs, a flock of chickens, and three rabbits.

I believe that no matter your age or background, your body is designed to heal and feel good. If you’re ready to improve your breathing, posture, and overall well-being, I’d love to work with you.
