Movement Classes

Classes with MaryBeth Gangemi are an exploration of movement drawing from the natural sequence of human development such as breathing, head control, rolling, rocking, crawling, squatting, and walking. Then expanding on those skills, we move into a full range of basic human movements such as, lifting, carrying, throwing, catching, balancing, jumping, crawling, walking, running, and climbing. Every activity is scaled for your individual competency, readiness, and goals.

Kettlebell and natural movement Small Group classes are offered at the Kairos Strong studio in North Chatham/Pittsboro, North Carolina.  All classes will be scaled to your current ability.

Small Group Class:

Equipment available includes floor mats, a wide range of kettlebells, resistance bands, weighted balls, pull up bar, monkey bars, sandbags, Indian clubs, balance boards, gymnastic rings, and more!

The typical class format meets twice a week for 8 weeks. This allows for individualized instruction in a small, supportive environment. This class is designed to accommodate beginners to advanced.

However, if you have very specific goals, or have an injury or a specific illness, private sessions may be a great place to start. Please contact me to discuss your specific goals and interests.
